Hey Lovelies, a Black Girl Self-Care Series has made its way to JFBG! Azé and I have curated a series of content that centers caring for ourselves as Black Womxn. From natural hair videos to skin care routines and Black Girl-centered affirmation meditations, we are bringing to you simple, affordable and accessible physical and mental health routines to aid you in your journey to Radical Self-Love. We already began posting for this series with the most recent natural hair video on the Si Slays YouTube Channel —linked in bio—, so check that out to see the super simple and affordable 4c natural hair care routine that grew my hair waist-length. And of course you can access that same routine via JFBG because you know I wrote a blog post about it for y’all!
We’re super excited to bring all this material to you this Women’s History Month because self-preservation IS an act of political warfare and is, at least to us, the most radical act of resistance black people, and especially black womxn, can practice in a world that’s dedicated to trying to harm and dehumanize us. Let’s talk and DO self-care centered on us embracing our existences as black womxn as both an act of Radical Resistance and an act of Radical Self-Love. Follow me (xo1_sieraa) and Azé (mynamesaze) on Instagram and subscribe to the YouTube Channel so you don’t miss anything we’ll be sharing in this series.💞
*I am in alignment with my highest, most positive good.
I am provided with everything I need in divine right time.
I am grounded and centered in my being and purpose.
I am joyous and grateful for all of the things I get to do in a day.
I am in love with who I am, what I do and how I do it.
Beauty, power, love, wisdom and courage radiates out of all parts of my being.
I see my myself as I truly am: a child of God; a beam of light; a manifestation of divine love; a Friend of God.
This guided affirmation meditation is available on our Patreon, patreon.com/itsinthestars.
